Julie C asked: My husbnand suffered some nerve damage at birth that effects the right side of his body. Because of this his right leg doesnt work properly and he needs a walking stick to be able to walk and balance.
Lately when he gets stressed or tired he gets quiet violent involuntary spasms in his leg. Sometimes they get so bad that we cannot sleep in the same bed because his spasms either kick me or the make the whole bed shake and keep me awake.
We know they are being caused by tiredness and stress and the doctors have told him that they will increase as he ages (he’s 48 now). We do everything we can to deal with the tiredness and stress (early nights, relaxation exercises, spa baths help) but what I need to know is does anyone have any ideas on how to get the spasms to stop when they start. We would prefer natural remedies to medication because he already takes a lot of medication for a heart problem.
