While dong some spring cleaning yesterday, I wiped down some wooden shelves in my laundry room. Immediately after doing so, my throat become dry, and hurt terribly. They are old wooden shelves, that should have been vacuumed instead, because there were small flecks that had been chipped off over the past year. My throat now feels horribly scratched. I am a stay at home mom, so taking over the counter medication is not really an option since most of them make drowsy.
So what are some natural remedies I can do to sooth my throat. I have no other symptoms, but it can be coincidental that I’m sick, and felt it at that moment. Though I really do not believe that is the case. I feel like I actually have the wooden flakes in my throat, but am pretty sure it’s just scratched.
